PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION
Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PSYR) is also known as Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR). There are two tracks of training available through CCC. The Mental Health & Psychiatric Rehabilitation™ (MH-PSYR™) certification track (45 hours of education/15 hours of supervision) covers the seven essential competencies established by the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) with a special focus on trauma resolution and satisfies the 45 hours of education required to qualify to sit for the national Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) examination offered by the PRA.

The Community Health Worker - Mental Health & Psychiatric Rehabilitation™ (CHW - PSYR™) track requires 160 hours (60 hours of education/100 hours of supervised experience) of training in order to receive certifcation. The CHW-PSYR™ also satisfies the PRA requirements to qualify to sit for the CPRP.
