RECOVERY & PEER SUPPORT
The Community Health Worker - Peer Recovery and Peer Support™ (CHW - Peer™) curriculum requires the completion of 160 hours (60 hours of education/100 hours of supervised experience) of training in order to receive certifcation. Peer services are considered a specialty of community health. The PRPS curriculum will cover the range of peer services across the continuum of care, with a special focus on trauma resolution.

The Maryland Addiction & Behavioral-Health Professionals Certification Board (MABPCB) is recognized among the state's licensing and certification boards by the state of Maryland.
