The College of Clinical Care accepts accredited and authorized education and training to satisfy the requirements for all designations and continuing education. CCC also requires memberships and certifications from appropriate entities. Below is a list of recognized membership, certification, education and training entities from which CCC will grant full equivalency and reciprocity.

 

• All institutions accredited by the USDE and/or CHEA

• State boards authorized by state governments

• Organizations that have formal recognition from federal agencies (such as FEMA, Veterans Administration, Homeland Security, etc.)

• Green Cross Academy of Traumatology (and its accredited sites)

• Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists (and its approved partners)

• Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (and its approved education providers)

• IC&RC, NAADAC, ASAM boards

• NBCC

• American Psychological Association

• NASW/ASWB

• American Group Psychotherapy Association

• National Board of Public Health Examiners

• Federal Coaching Network

• American Correctional Association

• National Association of Certified Mediators

• Chaplain Organizations: ICPT, CPEI, COMISS

• GWISH ISPEC

• American Institute for the Advancement of Forensic Studies

• National Association of Forensic Counselors

• The SASSI Institute

• International Trauma Training Institute

Applicants may request CCC to review an organization for recognition and then placed on the list. Applicants can also request a special circumstances review for certain situations. ​Some entities do not have established criteria that are consistent with evidence-based practices or the standards of their trade peers and allied craft-specific organizations. The College of Clinical Care will not grant full equivalency and reciprocity to those membership, certification, training and education organizations.​​
