CLINICAL CHAPLAIN -
REHABILITATION & RECOVERY

The Clinical Chaplain - Rehabilitation & Recovery Services® (CC-RRS®) curriculum requires the completion of 400 hours (100 hours of education/300 hours of supervised experience) of advanced clinical pastoral education & training in order to receive the designation. The national CC-RRS® curriculum expands the national competencies of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association:

3. Facilitating Recovery Strategies
4. Mental/Behavioral Health
5. Interpersonal Competencies
6. Community Integration
7. Systems Competencies
8. Assessment, Planning, and Outcomes
9. Professional Role & Responsibilities
10. Crisis & Trauma Resolution
The Clinical Chaplain - Rehabilitation & Recovery Services® (CC-RRS®) advanced training satisfies the PRA CPRP requirements and is designed for healthcare workers with the professional-proficient level of skills acquisition. The CC-RRS® is competent and qualified as a certified rehabilitation specialist under federal regulations to assist with disability determinations using the WHODAS 2.0 and the preparation and development of the Schedule A letter.
