Designed to teach and guide others about self-care, teach effective CF stress management, train to assess and treat secondary traumatic stress, and develop a CF prevention program.

Must have completed levels 1-3. Covers trauma assessment and diagnosis, treatment competency, contextual applications, and self care. Must also complete 100 hours of direct practice with 20 hours of clinical supervision.

Curriculum requires the completion of 400 hours (100 hours of education/300 hours of supervised experience) of clinical pastoral training for certification.

Must have completed three units of accredited clinical pastoral education. May receive equivalency for verified professional ministry experience.

Examines evidence-based HPC theories and practices w/special focus on nociception, iatrogenesis, compassion fatigue, trauma and the 12 core functions; Explores bio-psycho-social-spiritual-environmental interactions on ADLs. Surveys salutogenic features of grief, hope, advanced planning, and other end-of-life issues.

Covers theoretical foundations, practical skills, and case studies to equip participants with the tools necessary to effectively advocate, mediate, and mitigate disputes and risk.

Must have been certified as a peer before the training. Training provides knowledge, skills, and abilities in helping people w/previous justice-involvement.

Must have completed levels 1-4. Curricula includes courses in grief and loss, stress/pyschological first aid, treating sexual trauma, treating complex trauma, and an evidence-based trauma resolution course.

Examines the 7 essential competencies established by the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) with a special focus on trauma resolution.

Covers the minimum standards in basic victim advocacy training: (1) advocacy/role of the advocate, (2) cultural competency, (3) case management/coordination, (4) ethics/confidentiality, (5) civil/criminal justice systems, (6) history of victim services, (7) crime victims compensation, (8) trauma of victimization, (9) crisis intervention, and (10) victims’ rights.
