COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER -
DISASTER SERVICES


60 CEUs
The Community Health Worker - Disaster Services™ (CHW-Disaster™) curriculum covers the 5 craft specialties across the trauma spectrum (critical incidents, emergencies, crises, disasters, and catastrophes). This curriculum also covers the 3 Realms of ACEs: Adverse Childhood Experiences, Adverse Community Environments, and Adverse Climate Events. This curriculum satisfies the requirements of the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology for certification and to deploy on national and international events. The CHW-Disaster™ designation requires the completion of 160 hours (60 hours of education/100 hours of supervised experience) of training, and is designed for practitioner-competent level healthcare workers.
