Spirituality involves the optimal and interconnected functioning of imagination, thought, speech, feeling, action/behavior, social connection, and the built environment of an individual and of a community. This is the heart of wellness and well-being.

The CHW-SCS ® contains the essential features of the national ACPE Spiritual Care Specialist training and George Washington University's Interprofessional Spiritual Care Education Curriculum (ISPEC), and is designed for professional-proficient level healthcare providers.
