Dora Best

Fellow

Ms. Dora Best holds the Master of Arts in Human Service Counseling with a specialization in Executive Leadership, and Bachelor of Science in Management degrees, She also holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management. She has 30 years of leadership experience within the federal government. 


Ms. Best is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and a member of the Federal Coach Network. She is a certified John Maxwell trainer, motivational speaker, DISC practitioner and a graduate of the Federal Internal Coach Training Program and the Partnership for Public Service Excellence in Government Fellows program and served as an Alumnus Co-Coach to one of the largest cohorts.


Ms. Best was nominated for the Southern Maryland Women’s League for the Women of Impact Award and the Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medal Award. In addition, she serves as a board member for several non-profit organizations where she advises on organizational leadership and strategic planning.
