The Certified Prevention Professional Supervisor Educator™ (CPPSE) advanced curriculum is designed for experienced preventionists that are qualified and competent in providing education, training, coaching, supervision and consultation in the prevention of salutogenic impairment involving spiritual health, mental health, emotional and behavioral health, SUDs, social/cultural/environmental health, and non-clinical issues impacting activities of daily living.
In order to participate in this professional development, professionals must satisfy the following prerequisites:
1. Bachelor degree from an USDE/CHEA accredited college or university with sixty (60) credits in behavioral sciences, health, human services, or education
2. Hold the IC&RC Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist (ICPS) in good standing
3. Hold a recognized and credible designation as a trainer, educator, supervisor, or consultant in prevention or a related discipline, trade, or craft
4. Have five (5) years of verifiable experience beyond the direct service delivery role involving leadership, supervision of other prevention staff, and management of prevention programs and activities
