The Community Care Community Chaplain (CCCC) curriculum requires the completion of 400 hours (100 hours of education/300 hours of supervised experience) of advanced clinical pastoral education & training in order to receive the designation. This CCCC training establishes the National Community Care Chaplaincy curriculum (NCCC). This training is designed for spiritual care providers serving in non-conventional places and spaces, such as government and civil service agencies, religious and non-profit organizations, educational institutions, homeless shelters, housing programs, funeral homes, sports and entertainment venues, business and commerce entities, airports and other transportation settings, and many other appropriate areas and sites in communities where people are located.
