The Community Health Worker - Disaster Services® (CHW-Disaster®) advanced curriculum covers the 5 craft specialties across the disaster trauma spectrum:

1. Critical Incidents
2. Emergencies
3. Crises
4. Disasters
5. Catastrophes (and, extinction level events)

This curriculum also covers the 3 Realms of ACEs: Adverse Childhood Experiences, Adverse Community Environments, and Adverse Climate Events.

This curriculum satisfies the requirements of the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology for certification and to deploy on national and international events. The CHW-Disaster® designation requires the completion of 200 hours (75 hours of education/125 hours of supervised experience) of advanced training, and is designed for practitioner-competent level healthcare workers.
